Blake did an awesome job at my son's wedding last weekend. I am a professional caterer and I have worked with Blake and many others over the years. He carefully navigated the requests and instructions that were given to him by the bride and other key persons, especially where they conflicted so that everyone was comfortable with what to expect. He made appropriate suggestions that we enjoyed and implemented. He offered add on lighting services at much more reasonable prices than what the venue was demanding for the exact same option. Blake showed up early, set up a nice display and worked hard to keep the crowd entertained and engaged. Blake is not the cheapest possible option for DJ services, but he is worth every penny and he exceeded our expectations by far. He was professional and flexible when we needed to be and he was very easy to work with. Thanks, Blake...for a job well done!

This DJ was very helpful in the beginning when I sent him all the forms needed a couple weeks prior along with the playlist for the wedding. THEN He gives me a call and states that he will need more money since I'm already getting a deal through the venue. He stated that it's an early cocktail hour, he will need to be paid for the extra 1.75 hours he will be there. I asked him to come over for the time contracted that we have already paid him for and not having music during cocktail with be ok. He was on the phone with me demanding more $ and I let him know multiple times that I couldn't afford to pay him anymore. He finally sent me an email and agreed to play for the 5 hours he was paid/comtracted for but little did I know he had other plans...About three days before the wedding he sends me an email (no phone call) stating that I will have a brand new DJ that just moved to Austin area from LA because he has another wedding that came up all of a sudden. I was fine with that and figured that the new DJ would download the songs on my playlist. To make sure I even emailed the new DJ with my requests! I was so disappointed when at the wedding because only about 10 songs form my playlist were actually available. My groom is a big texas country fan and we only had 2 songs played one of which was our first dance. The whole time we had dance music and it seemed like we were at the club the whole time. The new DJ wasn't a great entertainer at all and was a bit rude to my guests.
NOT HAPPY with vendor screwing me over becuase he didn't get paid for 1.75 hours of extra playtime he was not asked to do.

Alright so I am mixed here. When we met with Blake we talked about music selections. We ytaked about genres of music and a few specific songs. We were pretty clear we wanted to stay away from todays top 40. However, on the day of thats what we got, with the specific songs we referenced sprinkled in. Definately not what we were going for. Also, the proffessionalism wasn't there. Brought his daughter to one of our meetings which would have been fine except he brought nothing to entertain her and she was very demanding of my attention, limiting my involvment in the discussion. He rescheduled our final meeting 2x, on the last claiming a family situation with his daughter... way to pull on the heart strings. However when we actually sat down he made reference to having spent that day at the lake. WOW! Two weeks before your wedding you will need all the time you can get. You certainly don't want to deal with last minute reschedules so he can go to the lake. Also, we have an interesting family situation in that I have a father and a step dad and needed 2 dances. We talked about some creative ways he could introduce the dances to clarify for people, "lucky enough to have 2 dads" etc, yet he did none of the introductions like we discussed. Instead, for father daughter dance number 1, for father daughter dance number 2... seriously? Forgot to call for my family to go through the buffet line first, something I had to correct. Would not recommend.

1st Class Entertainment wowed everyone with the music selection as well as the dj skills.
DJ Blake mixed the music and matched the beats and kept the music flowing all night long!
My girlfriends and I havent danced that much in a long time.
I would definitely go wherever 1st Class Entertainment was playing again.
Not to mention the lighting !!! Wow the lighting absolutely set it off...it made everything glow the color of the wedding decor.
The disco lights were super cool too.
Go DJ :-)

This is what I was most worried about and Blake told me he knew what he was doing and boy was he right. He blew us away and everyone had a great time.

Blake was our DJ and he kept the wedding on track. Played what we asked as well as other popular dance music.

My venue referred Blake at 1st Class Entertainment and we enjoyed working with them very well. We had a little trouble with contact in the beginning but once we did, it went very smoothly. The music was great and the lighting was beautiful. Other than a little miscommunication, it went very well and our night was fantastic!Thank you!

DJ Blake was exceptional! I've never had so much fun. We hadn't chosen anyone to do toasts and DJ Blake set that all up to happen right before our cake cutting. He got people up on the dance floor and kept the party rolling well into late night with kareoke. I would hire him again and again!
