I almost never write reviews or complete surveys but I could not pass up the opportunity to brag on Henry Uribe III of Brock + Co (formerly BZ Events). From the minute we met him I knew he would bring calm and reason and terrific design and coordination to my daughter's wedding. We had already found the venue (Sacred Oaks at Camp Lucy) and knew it would take someone with impeccable taste and skill to assure we did the place justice. Henry was great to work with and helped us find the right vendors and coordinate everything down to every minute detail. His day of coordination was spectacular. I don't even know everything he did but I know it was significant and done with such beauty and skill and patience and it made our daughters day more special than we ever dreamed! He is an expert in his field and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for coordination services.

I met with Becky and Henry shortly after I got engaged after hearing about them from a friend. Within minutes of our first meeting, I knew there was absolutely no way I could have anyone but these two plan our big day. I really didn't come into the process with a ton of ideas. I picked a color palette and a general feeling I wanted for the day, and let them do all the work!
They helped us pick the perfect venue and in incredible vendor team. They really work with the cream of the crop in Austin. They are such a delight to work with and I will miss meeting with them regularly!
Our wedding was absolutely stunning and SO MUCH FUN. Becky had arranged for boozy snow cones and a creme brulee cart. All of our guests were absolutely blown away. Everyone we talk to say it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever attended.
Our wedding was better than I ever could have imagined. Thank you Becky, Henry and the rest of the team at BZ!!! We love you guys!

My husband and I used Cortney with BZ Events to plan our wedding and we were extremely happy with our choice. The cost of the service was very reasonable and fair, and the value was incredible - it was so worth it to have Cortney to help us. She is very organized, attentive to detail, professional in dealing with families and lots of needs, and she helped us to stay within our budget. She is REALLY creative and helped me craft my own vision for the wedding and then she flawlessly executed it while keeping me involved in all decision making. Having the help of BZ Events really lessened the stress level for us, kept me on track for my planning tasks, and kept the process FUN - like it is supposed to be! She and her staff were always prepared and carried out a very smooth and classy affair on the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Cortney and BZ Events to anyone looking for event coordination services.

Thanks to Cortney, Megan and the BZ events team, our wedding was the most absolutely perfect, happiest, most stress-free day for everyone involved. Our venue (Laguna Gloria in Austin, TX) was awesome yet daunting because every single thing needed for the ceremony and reception had to be brought there. Without Cortney's help, my mom and I would have been beside ourselves. She was able to hear our wishes for the wedding and find ways to make them doable! She helped us enjoy the process of planning, which, no matter how fun you think it's going to be, it becomes quite stressful every once in awhile. From creating a unique reception layout to helping find special table linens to keeping us all on track/on schedule, Cortney did a phenomenal job. Megan teamed with Cortney on our wedding and took over seamlessly when Cortney had her baby early. Not even once did I ever doubt that everything would be carried on as professionally and as successfully - and I was right. :) Our guests had an amazing time and still comment about our wedding as "like it came from a movie." We miss Cortney and Megan already. You would be so very lucky to get to work with them.

After interviewing several event planners we decided to go with Becky Brock at BZ Events. The initial attraction was her creativity and style. When she assured us that she had no reservations about pulling off a wedding in six months we knew she was "The One" for us!
In addition to her creative abilities Becky offered ingenious ideas to make our vision come to life. She was organized and impeccable in every detail.
She and Henry took the stress out of what could be an extremely demanding affair and allowed us to enjoy this time unencumbered by worrisome particulars. The final result was nothing short of fabulous! They took our vision and executed it flawlessly.
We could not have been more pleased and I have no hesitation in referring anyone to Becky Brock, Henry Uribe III and the entire staff at BZ Events! Absolutely the best money we ever spent! Love and miss these folks!

Andrew & I got engaged in West Texas on December 13, 2011. On December 28th we were sitting in the BZ office wondering how we could possibly get a wedding planned in Austin, a city we didn't live in, within the next 6 months. At the time I didn't even see how it would be possible! After our first meeting with Becky Brock we knew she was the one. It's just like when you find the right wedding dress you just know...well that's how we felt about Becky, when we found her we knew she was the right fit. We returned home, 6 hours north of Austin, a week later and all we had was a planner and a venue. Becky was available to respond to every e-mail and phone call whenever we needed her. She sent me names of the best vendors in town and I simply chose which ones I liked the best. She was able to set up over the phone or in person interviews when it was convenient for us and we were able to decide who we wanted from there. Becky told us when we needed to be in town and set up ALL of our vendor appointments so we could knock out flowers, invitations, food, band, table settings, lighting, etc. all in one weekend. As someone that works full time this type of convenience is a MUST! Any question, stress or issue we ran into Becky took care of. While my mom and I were busy e-mailing and calling Becky, my husband had Henry to rely on. Henry was such a great and necessary addition to the team! He e-mailed my husband tie, suit, pocket square options and helped him make decisions about whatever a groom needs and a bride doesn't have time to worry about.
Come wedding day Becky, Henry and the BZ team arrived before we were done with hair and makeup. They moved all of our luggage from our hotel rooms around so we could get into our new honeymoon suite that night... they helped find toothpaste, pin back our hair and even brought along a pair of extra wedding rings in case the best man forgot ours...who even thinks of all this stuff?
Becky and Team ready with their secret service ear pieces, timelines! They had a list of every family member, bridesmaid and groomsman... they knew grandma liked apple martini's and we needed to make sure and take a picture with Uncle Raymond & Aunt Theresa before the night was over. When we let for the church without my dad, Becky went back and picked him up. When no one wanted to help me put on my wedding dress, Henry was there to help, haha. They made sure we captured every moment, they we were never without a drink and that we truly enjoyed every moment of our special day! Without BZ we would have been a mess, I would have been running around all night making sure everything was running smoothly but with them I didn't miss a thing! They made sure we got all the pictures we needed, got to the reception in time to enjoy cocktail hour, sat us down to eat dinner, got us ready to cut the cake and made sure we got to dance the night away! They were hidden in the background all night making sure every special moment and event occurred smoothly.
They took our small vision, color palette and style and turned it into the event of the year! They have an amazing list of vendors to choose from and they make it so easy to make decisions! I went to Austin 3 times in the 6 months of planning and they took care of everything else. I could have NEVER pulled this off without them and I don't recommend that any bride tries. If you are even thinking about getting married you need BZ Events!!!!

BZ Events planned my wedding in Austin, TX at the Driskill and did an amazing job!! I truly couldn't be happier with the entire process from start to finish. Cortney Zieky is a precious person and an absolute joy to work with. Our wedding day turned out perfect and I can't imagine having pulled it off without the help of Cortney and her team. I recommend to everyone that they use Cortney and her team at BZ Events. You won't be disappointed!!

I can't say enough about how great BZ Events is and how much they made my life easier with planning the wedding. I don't live in Austin currently, so I decided early on that I needed help with the planning and especially vendor recommendations. I interviewed a couple other party planners, but when I talked to Becky, she immediately connected with the vision I had for the wedding and I knew she was the one! She gave me several recommendations for vendors-all were fantastic, coordinated the whole rental and linen order, set up all vendor meetings for me, helped out with some great ideas on decor, and on the big day, everything was perfect! Becky and her team handled the event flawlessly and I didn't worry about a thing! I highly recommend BZ Events!!

BZ Events created memories for me. I had a general vision for my wedding, but Becky at BZ Events helped bring the details alive. By taking the time to get to know myself and my fiancee, Becky was able to steer us to the best vendors that suited our style. I think having great vendors is key to executing a fantastic wedding that seems cohesive from the decor to the wedding dress. Thanks to BZ Events, my vision was communicated to all who was involved and the end result was amazing. I was able to enjoy the planning process because I knew we were in good hands! I would present an idea for the decorations or invitation printing and Becky would run with it and make it even better than I could have imagined. My best advice to future brides is to hire a wedding coordinator. And if you live in Austin, Texas...hire BZ Events!

I've been to many, many weddings and there is always a behind the scene horror story associated with almost every one. Thanks to Corney and her associates at BZ Events our daughters wedding was unique, stress free (well almost :-)) and truly a memory that everyone in our family will cherish. Every small detail was planned and executed in a very professional manner yet the warmth and personal concern of the BZ Events staff characterized every aspect of the wedding planning and implementation. We went with the "day of" service - we booked all our own vendors - so just wanted someone to pull it all together for us and orchestrate the day. Stephanie was all that, and some. A pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process and she had plenty of advice and valuable tips in the few weeks leading up to the big day. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Cortney and the BZ Events team. I initially started out the wedding process thinking I could do it on my own. Full-time grad school and working 35 hours a week let me know otherwise. I saw BZ Events on the preferred vendor list at the Allan House so I called and talked with Cortney. And I could not be happier that we met!
We had three parties planned (rehearsal dinner, wedding/reception, and day-after brunch). The attention to detail that Cortney gave each of these events was amazing. From invitations, to flowers, to food, to decor --I was stunned at how elegant yet laid back (fit me and groom perfectly) everything was.
We are already trying to come up with another excuse for a party...just so Cortney can plan it. If you are on the fence a planner, let me tell you, you absolutely cannot go wrong with BZ Events. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I've been nothing but blown away by Cortney Zieky of BZ Events. I really do tell everyone who asks whether we have a coordinator that I am SO lucky to have found her because she and the BZ team have to be the best in Austin.
We've been planning our April 2011 wedding for the past 9 months, and she's been right there with us the entire time keeping us on track and providing all kinds of wonderful answers and resources. Her communication skills are top notch—I rarely even have to email her first, because she's always 10 steps ahead of me.
I'm extremely particular and design oriented, so it was important that whoever I worked with understood and respected that, and Cortney absolutely does. It's such a great feeling to have this much confidence in your coordinator and know that your big day will be perfect because you can trust her.
I cannot say enough about BZ. They're wonderful and really are great at making your event—and the entire planning process—absolutely perfect.

We coudln't have pulled off our wedding long distance from DC without the help of Becky. She not only made the wedding happen, she gave us an experience beyond anything we dreamed of. She was great to work with and her staff was very professional and organized. The wedding and reception went like clockwork and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The details Becky chose on her own were beautiful and the bride and her mother actually cried for joy when they walked into the room where the reception was to be held and saw it for the first time. I would recommend Becky to anyone planning an event. Not only is Becky great, but she works with the greatest vendors in Austin. She knew all the best people for us to work with that were within our price range. I can't thank her enough for making our day so special. We both feel very lucky to have found her and the day couldn't have gone more perfectly.

Becky Brock and her team at BZ Events made my wedding all I could have dreamed of and so much more. I've been married for six weeks now and every time I see someone I haven't seen since the wedding, they tell me how it was the most fun wedding they've ever attended. Becky nailed our style from the get-go and no detail was left undone. The lighting, the programs, the food, the DJ, it was all perfect. I recommend Becky to anyone regardless of your budget because she will make your wedding look like it cost $20k+ more than it did. I was not stressed out one bit on the big day (or leading up to it really) because I knew Becky had it under control. She did an amazing job and on a personal note, she is just as awesome as the job she does on your wedding. You won't regret using BZ Events! Without her, I wouldn't have known where to start with any of the vendors and she made it so easy for us. Plus, we got a ton of discounts for working with Becky so I'm pretty sure she paid for herself plus some. Thanks a million, Becky!

Our perfect wedding day was held at Barton Creek Resort, which does not have a coordinator provided for the day of the wedding. As involved as we wanted to be in every stage of our planning process, we knew that the day of (and really the few weeks leading up to) our wedding was not something we could organize and run on our own. We decided to go with one of Barton Creek’s preferred wedding coordinating vendors, BZ Events. From the moment my husband and I met Becky Brock, we knew we had made a wise choice in seeking professional help for our “Month of” coordinating needs. Her positive attitude, bubbly personality, and warm demeanor made us instantly comfortable.
We had a few initial meetings with Becky to share our wedding vision, discuss our vendors, and really dive into the logistics of the ceremony and reception. Her thorough checklists kept us on track for providing vendor information, items to bring before the wedding, and decisions that needed to be made, which allowed us to really think through every part of the day.
During the day of, Becky and her staff of two assistants did everything from lace up my wedding gown to pin all of the boutonnieres on the groom’s party. As we learned through all of our meetings, we had someone as intimately familiar with our wedding details as we were, which is exactly what we needed given the many little details involved in a wedding. The ceremony and reception rooms were both set up to our exact specifications. Her experience with many of our vendors, allowed for a seamless set up for the venue and flow to the night’s events. We highly recommend Becky and BZ Events, as they helped us pull off the wedding of our dreams and were incredible to work with each step of the way!

Ladies listen. We think we all have it under control when it comes to our weddings. I understand this is the day we dream about our entire lives - But trying to plan a beautiful wedding on your own is insane.
I have a full-time job and you will quickly realize that trying to plan a wedding while working full time is nearly impossible. So I consider myself so lucky to get passed along to Becky and her amazing team at BZ Events. She saved me from many a headache and stress. Here’s why….

Here is an example. Instead of trying to search for a wedding photographer on my own, she recommended 3 to me bases on my style and budget. Of course she had a favorite in mind and at the end of the day, I ended up choosing that photographer. But I could have spent a lot of time away from my job meeting with photographers and other vendors, but since Becky knew my style and budget, she was able to point me in the right direction.
BZ Saves You Money:
The budget for the wedding WILL be the most stressful thing you deal with. But Becky and her team keep you on track. They plan the budget out from the beginning so there are no extra surprises in the end. And her expertise on what vendors are good and who you can trust will save you money. I mean, who wants to use a vendor with holes in their tents? Becky knows who to trust and capabilities on some great vendors in the Austin area. Whether it’s flowers, lighting or that little extra touch, she will help you get the wedding of your dreams.
BZ Keeps You Calm:
It’s the most important day of your life thus far. And you will be stressed out. But somehow, every meeting with Becky seemed to make me feel at ease and on the wedding day, all I did was sit back and enjoy my special day, without having to worry about anything.
In the end I’m not sure I would have been able to keep my job, or my sanity, without BZ Events. Becky and her team truly made our day very special and we owe them a HUGE thank you for making it a day we will never forget!
