Wow. My wedding was 3 weeks ago and I still can't believe how perfect everything was. We had our wedding at Bill Miller's Castle on Friday, September 14th, 2012 at 6pm. It was seriously like a fairy tale! We had the La Luna plated dinner package, which included linens, the bridal suite to get ready in, cocktail hour, open bar all night, a pasta course, salad course, and main course. The food was AMAZING....from the cocktail hour to the dessert. It is catered by La Luna, and it was phenomenal. Everything is made right there, in the kitchen in the castle, so it is super fresh. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food. The drinks were well made and strong, and the castle itself is just such a unique venue. After our guests congratulated us, their next comment was "this place is awesome! How on earth did you find it?!" Working with Cheri in the months before the wedding was great. She answered all of my emails very promptly, and was very flexible with all of my requests and questions. They basically let you customize and decorate however you would like, however there actually isn't much to do considering the place is already very heavily decorated and ready to go at a moments notice.
They have 4 different places in which to have your ceremony; Outside on the deck / gazebo, outside on the grass, inside by the 3 story fireplace, or inside upstairs in a beautiful room with stained glass, lots of windows, etc...we decided on the grass location and it was beautiful.
The night of the wedding, Cheri, Lisa, and Sue catered to our every need, and were SO helpful with any questions we had. Lisa brought over a bottle of Champagne for the two of us. So unexpected and nice of her! Cheri had everything so perfectly orchestrated from the ceremony to the introductions to the very end of the night. I also loved everything that the per person rate included. There weren't any sneaky variables to worry about, such amount of alcohol consumed, etc...they even saved the remainder of our signature drink for us and gave it to us the next day when we went to pick everything up! They really go above and beyond at this venue. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it the exact same way....at Bill Miller's!!

I never expected so many people to tell me that my wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to. Everyone was so impressed with how unique Bill Millers is (which is one of the reasons I picked it!) and they loved the rustic atmosphere. The Miller family was so helpful and friendly and they really helped to make our dream wedding a reality!

Our wedding took place on 11/05/11 at Bill Miller's Castle. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The onsite coordinator, Cheri, was amazing and took care of all our needs. The ambiance of the castle with it's exposed beams on stonework fireplaces is perfect for a romantic wedding ceremony and reception. I can't rave enough about the value we received for our money. I would recommend this venue to any bride who is looking for a wedding venue with charm and class and wants something other than a cookie cutter wedding hall.

We recently had our wedding reception here and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue! From the decor, to the staff, to the food...Bill Miller's had it all! Cheri, the coordinator was wonderful to work with and helpful during the whole process. La Luna, who caters, has the most delicious food and was also great to work with. Highly recommend!

We loved Bill Miller's! It's a very unique place and our guests loved that it was different! Our only complaint was with the wedding coordinator, but she has since been fired! The rest of the staff that helped out that night were awesome! We highly recommend Bill Miller's Castle!

We were thrilled with Bill Miller's Castle. The decor was amazing, the location was deceptively large, and the food was incredible (catering was provided through La Luna Restaurant). All of our guests were amazed by the details in the location and the collection of antiques that were there. Diane, the wedding coordinator, appeared somewhat scattered in the beginning, but was able to manage the entire day exactly as we had hoped, and showed none of her stress during the reception. She made the families feel welcome, and regularly checked on my husband's elderly and injured grandmother. The only thing that did not occur as we had hoped was the set-up of the buffet. We had asked for stations, and got a buffet line instead. This slight oversight had no negative impact on our reception at all! I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone who wants an amazing reception in a unique location for a relatively low price!

It really fit the style of our wedding, which was a mishmosh of medieval/renaissance/fairy tale/norse viking. It's completely perfect for these styles, a casual reception, or even a very haute event.;Absolutely nothing to be warned of, other than you'll just love it!

This was my dream setting for my wedding. My husband and I chose the outdoor ceremony area and being at the start of fall we had the perfect back drop for an amazing fall wedding. The food was delicious and everything went beautifully! The owners are willing to work with you and make your vision become a reality.

Due to some unfortunate circumstances with our original location, I had to completely replan my wedding 3 months prior to the ceremony. I contacted Bill Miller's Castle to see if we could have our ceremony there, as the venue is truly beautiful. There was already a wedding booked for the afternoon of our intended date, but we were told, since our ceremony was so small (less than 25 people total) we could do it earlier in the day, for an hour and a half. For this ceremony the fee would be $500, we agreed, and then came in to sign the paperwork. Not only did the $500 turn into nearly $900, with the $150 photo fee, and the 20% Venue fee (which isn't it all for the venue since only the ceremony was there), even though we told them several times, we would be getting ready elsewhere but I would be putting on my gown there (since I lived 40 min away) she was dismayed that I didn't arrive dressed, as they didn't expect me to need the brides room. She rushed me to my ceremony, and snapped rudely at my 4 year old daughter. We also couldn't take all the pictures she originally said we could, because the areas were already blocked off for the other wedding. It was obvious they didn't care about my ceremony, only the money they could get from it. I'm sure this is different for larger weddings, but if they are uncomfortable taking smaller ceremonies, she shouldn't have offered/accepted. And for $850 for an hour and a half of their time, I would expect better treatment.

The team at Bill Miller's was really great. The planning was simple and I was blown away by the girls that attended to us during our reception. They were sweet and beyond helpful. Our vendors were happy with how kindly they were received as well. My only negative is that the coordinator kept coming to me with problems throughout the ceremony. I figured it was one night where petty things shouldn't be brought to me. Overall though, great place.

Pros: facility is beautiful if you’re looking for a rustic setting for both inside and outside options. Plenty of photo opts.
Cons: food is mediocre and service is even worse. We chose family style dinner, guests said there wasn’t enough food for everyone’s first serving at the table and the platters weren’t refilled. Guests also commented how slow the service was. The owner told us the wrong menu line up so our menu cards were not accurate to how the courses were served. Thankfully, the night of our rehearsal, I noticed how filthy all of the champagne glasses were on the tables set for our wedding and had to demand they be rewashed. How could they set 100+ seats and not notice this? Owners/ managers, while nice, are not particularly focused on the details of your wedding.
We paid $95 per person plus tax, an 18% service charge and tip.

When my fiance and I stepped into Bill Miller's castle last summer, we knew this was the place we were going to get married. The castle (more like a mansion) had a beautiful area for an indoor ceremony and a beautiful deck for an outdoor ceremony. Since it ended up raining on our day, we were inside. The indoor ceremony was held on the dance floor in front of a fireplace (with a fire)!
The food (catered by La Luna restaurant) was delicious - everyone raved about it. The Venetian table (came with our package) was impressive and delicious as well.
The drinks were small and a little weak, but it was open bar, so just go back up.
Cheri, the wedding coordinator, was very helpful and easily reached by email and prompt to respond.
The place is beautiful and easy to get to.
The negatives: if you do have your ceremony outside, I'm not sure how much traffic from the road you will hear. We were inside for everything, so it wasn't a big deal for us.
The DJ couldn't hook up to their sound system, so for introductions, etc., he had to stand far away from the speakers and hope that the sound travels (it did, but just something to be aware of).
The only hotel in the area is a Holiday Inn Express, and they were awful to work with (this is no fault of Bill Miller's; just something to be aware of also).
The food didn't all come out at the same time. The head table and first few tables were served, but tables 10-16 hadn't gotten food by the time the earlier tables were finished.

Cheri & Jan Miller are a delight to work with.
I had my reservations when event planning exchanged hands, but they really did a fantastic job. The place is being constantly worked on. Every time I stopped by, they had something new installed or redone. But the Castle is beautiful in and of itself. It is truly a unique place to have your wedding-even the history behind the Castle. All of my guests were impressed and so happy! The caterer that the Castle uses,La Luna Restaurant, did a great job on the food, and the Venetian table was AMAZING--much better than I had even hoped or anticipated. Many of my guests commented on how exceptional the entrees were considering that wedding food is usually mediocre. I rated service only slightly below, as the dinner was delayed, and there were a couple of things that went amiss. However, all in all, Bill Miller's is a great success!

I used them Bill Miller's for my cermony and reception. It was perfect for my Halloween themed wedding. They were very helpful on everything.
