We found this gem from a distance (we live in CA) and booked site unseen. We couldn't be happier! Our friends enjoyed an entire weekend of swimming, hiking, canoeing, and enjoying each other's company. We got to do this right along with them, as well as have a relaxed and beautiful outdoor ceremony and an easy DIY style reception. The outdoor ceremony space is one of the most beautiful sites I have seen, and the Lodge (for the reception) let our guests mingle, swim, play games, and dance all in one place. And the best part? We actually got to enjoy the day! Amazing.

We were looking for something rustic, and this place was just what we were looking for! 40 of our friends could stay in the lodge, and our family could stay in cabins there. THis is a do it yourself place, so be prepared to take that on. The owners kind of nickel and dimed us but we were happy with the place so put up with it.

A rustic and beautiful lodge with a big stone fireplace. Perfect for a romantic winter wedding.

Bluewater Farm sits beside Bradley Lake, in the shadow of Mount Kearsarge. There is no more gorgeous place the have a wedding. The cost of renting the Lodge (a great reception site that also has bed for 40 people!) and all three lakeside cabins for an entire 5 day week was less than most places wanted for a reception venue for a single afternoon! The outdoor chapel up on the mountain was a magical spot to have our ceremony. Every single person who works for Bluewater is approachable, sweet, and extremely helpful. I feel as though they are a part of our family now. You really cannot ask for a more amazing experience. We were able to have our wedding overlooking the lake, and spend they days afterward hiking, kayaking, and relaxing with our friends and family.
