We had our wedding pictures taken here. The woman I spoke to was so pleasant. She said as long as nothing was booked we could get pictures there at no charge. The grounds are beautiful and make for a great backdrop if you need a place for pictures.

My husband and I were looking for an inexpensive outdoor venue near Philly that would allow us to select our own caterer and bring our own alcohol. Curtis Hall & Arboretum fit all the criteria. The venue coordinator, Whitney Campoli, was always quick to address our needs throughout planning.
The venue includes a small hall with a stage (for a small band or DJ although we had neither, bathrooms, a full kitchen for caterers, and a small room for the bridal party if needed. It also includes an adjacent, large stone 30' by 40' patio, multiple sites for a ceremony (including a beautiful arbor), and large open fields nearby for photos.
The bathrooms and bridal room could use major updating. The rental included three hours of set up time as well as 1-2 hours clean up time. My family and my husbands family had to work HARD during those hours to set up everything (although additional hours in the morning were used to set up the outdoor ceremony site, etc)- a definite "con" to the site, as you cannot set up the day before, etc. (especially if someone is using the site before you, which is what we dealt with).
The outdoor area is beautiful, and thankfully we had good weather to enjoy it all. If you plan to use the outdoor space, budget for a tent, tables, and chairs, as Curtis will only provide a small number of tables.

I had very good experiences with the Site Coordinator. She answered all my questions clearly, made great recommendations, and was very helpful The hall itself is classy and, if lighted correctly, is stunning. We were able to use their tables which helped save rental costs, although we rented chairs since theirs are hideous. We had 80 guests which just about fit- the venue boasts 125, but believe me, you would never get them all in there. We married outside under the arbor which is simply darling if the weather works well for you- our wedding day was overcast and it still was amazing. However, if it does rain, prepare to be disappointed as there are not many options. Downside is you cannot stake in a tent anywhere. We rented a costly frame tent to cover the patio. Also, our "day of" coordinator provided by the venue was worthless. He was miserable, rude, and rushed our guests and other vendors out of the hall the minute our rental was up. He never bothered to introduce himself to us either.
