Beautiful (inexpensive) Site!    posted 5/24/2010

Gemini was the site of my wedding and was absolutely gorgeous. We had the ceremony on a green field, surrounded by old oak trees, spanish moss, and the water. The park allowed for a horse and carriage to ride across the green and transport the wedding party to the ceremony and the bride & groom from the ceremony afterwards. There is no charge for entrance so we did not have to pay for guests - we only had to rent the neighboring picnic pavilions nearest to where our ceremony was ($30- $45 in total). We also were able to rent a small little springhouse for the groomsman to dress in and hang out at pre-ceremony. This ceremony site was able to accommodate a large number of guests. My only complaint was the general manager at the Park. The guys working the park are FANTASTIC and did everything in their power to make the day perfect; but the lady managing the park was horribly rude, abrasive, and quite obviously and clearly did not want to deal with us. She made no effort to accomodate us in any which way and was not available to be there on the wedding date. It worked out well because the day went much nicer without her intrusion.
