We registered with Sears because they were local and reasonably priced. It was easy to add things to our registry in store or online but the selection was somewhat limited. We registered because we were told we needed to, but didn't receive many gifts from our registry. This suited us just fine.

It was so hard to register with them and most of my items didn't even show up. When we went in the store to register the sales reps didn't even know how to do it for us and their guns weren't charged. My guest had the hardest time picking out items and finding our registry.

Was told I could do it ALL online from home, had TONS of problems. But still was able to add a few things, but caused family and friends to be confused.

Sears has a lot of great things, but their wedding registry needs some work. We had difficulties in-store getting the registry sorted out and the online portion is confusing.

I loved looking through the sears site to pick the gifts we would like to receive. Hard to narrow down. This site was perfect because there is something for everyone in this store/site.

Every single guest took recepits for them to mark off on registry, not a single item was, not even ones bought online and sent to our house.

The people at sears were very helpful with everything to do with my wedding registry. The online catalogue made adding or changing items really easy.
The only thing I did not like, was that when a guest went to purchase the dishes I had selected, they were no longer available - or at least no one at Sears could figure out why they were not in stock, even though they were supposed to be a regularly stocked item. No other stores in close range had them either. We had to select another set of dishes :(
Otherwise everything was wonderful!

It's really great that you're able to pick literally ANYTHING from the store or website that you want to place on your registry. HOWEVER, the employees in the store are unable to bring up the registry, so your guests won't know who bought what. I also had a guest go online and do a "order online, pick up in store" kinda thing and even paid for it- got to the store and somehow didn't even have the item in stock. Just more than a headache than anything else- probably better off sticking to the traditional Bed, Bath & Beyond or something..

We had a destination wedding in Cuba. We did not want to get a bunch of gifts at the wedding and have to put them in our luggage to take back.
We registered with Sears and were able to have desired gifts sent to our local pick up spot close to home.
It was nice to do most things from online and we received a congratulatory e-mail when we returned from our honeymoon.

we had a blast going through and picking out what we wanted for our wedding..sears made it really easy and the registry was clear and easy to understand!!! would definatly recommend to anyone especially considering you can even do it online if you cant get access to a store easily!

We registered at Sears so we could register for a shed, tools, and a television. My family chipped in to purchase the shed and 6 weeks after the purchase was made Sears was unable to tell me where the shed was, when it would be manufactured, or any information depsite it being paid for in full. We got a refund and still have no shed. Additionally, the website design was terrible, we received our first gift without any information in the package as to who gave it to us. Sears was absolutely terrible!

as with all registries, little over priced, but what can you do

I made my now husband register at Sears for tools and other stuff you never want to buy, but need. He got a few things from it and as we were packing up the truck with gifts, there was another groom at his gift opening who was jealous that we got a chainsaw! Definetely made my husband happy and there were a few guys who were excited to go gift shopping :)

Product quality was good. Everything with the registry was good. Could have had a little more for options. Staff not overly helpful

We would receive gifts and have NO idea who they were from! And when you call to find out, they are not willing to give you ANY information!! The web-site is also fairly confusing to navigate so even though they have a lot of different items at decent prices, I would have probably chosen a different place.

I used Sears as one of my registries and was a little diappointed. The registry itself on the web was kind of tough and annoying. I was not sure if I was adding products to my list and had to keep checking and deleteing items. A few guests ordered from them and it took weeks to get the product. 6 weeks to be exact.

I found Sears to be a mediocre place to register. Most of my guests chose to go elsewhere as a lot of the things I registered for could not be found in store (out of stock ect). Sales were good if people chose to watch for them.

For Sears being such an establish company I was surprised how hard the website was to navigate and how to figure out what we could/couldnt add to our registry. No one else figured out how to find our registry at Sears so we didnt even get anything from there... I tried changing the shipping address and couldnt online, submitted a request through the trouble call/contact us portion and they told me that I had to go into a store. I went into the store and they told me I had to do it online... Not as happy as with Sears as the other registries....
