Weddings by two shot my Sister's wedding, then my Brother's wedding and then MY wedding. After seeing how beautiful my sibling's pictures came out and watching how they work - why would I look anywhere else! Weddings By Two is the BEST. The photographs they take somehow manage to capture your true selves and the joy of the day in a realistic non-cheesy less 'posey' sort of way - more like photojournalism instead of the typical rigid portrait studio session kind of vibe that many wedding photographers tend to fall into. They are laid back, easy to work with and can work with digital and/or film. Look no further!

We have not gotten our wedding photos back yet (we were told 5 weeks), but we had done an engagement shoot with Ben at Weddings By Two, and the photos were MAGICAL. We got so many compliments, and they were exactly what we wanted. We expect the wedding photos will similarly come out beautifully.
Ben and Brandon shot our wedding, and they are so friendly and yet also not at all intrusive. A lot of photographers will be in your face the whole night; not these guys. Their style is photo-journalistic, and their focus is more on the photos than on the printing afterward, so all of your money is going towards the actual photography. They put all of your photos up on a website accessible by password, and you and all of your guests can download all of the high-res photos and print them, post them to Facebook, etc. without any charge. Having been a wedding guest several times before, I can tell you this is a great asset; guests don't have to track down the photos from the bride and groom in order to avoid paying $25 for a 5x7 print.
We also used WeLovePhotobooths.com, which is run by Weddings By Two. The photobooth was a HUGE hit with our friends and family. Our favorite photos were of my husband's grandparents goofing off with the props we had made. Similarly, everyone can access the high-res files to download, so the day after the wedding, our Facebook newsfeed was flooded with our guests' photobooth pics. The photos are printed individually as 4x4" images on 4x6" paper with your wedding logo, and guests can take as many photos as they like and go home with the prints. We decided this would be our "favor" rather than some other typical favors we've seen.

Our favorite vendor of the evening was our photographer. My best friend used Ben and Laura 10 years ago when I was a bridesmaid at their wedding and I loved them back then and so they were my first choice photographers. They also partner with the photo booth company, We Love Photobooths so we excited to hire them as well. The whole process was seamless and they are the easiest vendors to work with by far. My husband is a photographer as well, so he trusted their work. They use the best cameras with all different angles and colors. They're pricing was fair and I wouldn't skimp in this area since all you have left after the wedding are your photographic memories and video if you chose to have one. Their style of photography is very journalistic and artsy, not your standard portrait, which they will do if you ask. We received our pictures back and we LOVED them!! You won't go wrong with this team.

We loved working with Ben from WeddingsbyTwo. Our engagement shoot was so much fun and the pictures turned out beautifully. Ben and his assistant were fantastic on our wedding day. They were up for anything and had some great ideas on how to make our pictures unique and artistic. We couldn't have asked for a better group to work with for our wedding.

Ben was the easiest and calmest photographer. He arrived on time to both my husband and myself. He was barely even noticeable. The pictures totally captured the evening!

We were looking for something unique and found it right away with this group. Laura Miller did outstanding work. It was a hectic day, and we had big families, kids, dogs all wedged into small, 1800's B&Bs. Laura was able to move around and get great shots without even being noticed! She's also super personable, kind and dedicated.
The venue, Helsinki Hudson, is anything but ordinary and we wanted our photos to capture that same "cool". Our family and friends were captured in the moment with great candid shots. Our portraits were hip, well thought out and perfect - from lighting, environment, details, angles...everything came out amazing.

We had Ben as the photographer at our wedding and we could not be happier with the results. We live in Chicago, but were able to meet him in NYC before our wedding to discuss our style and for him to get to know us a bit more personally. With him (and Laura) you can really feel how much they truly love experiencing weddings and being a part of your day and it shows through their work. They are young, professional and absolutely got the best shots without us ever realizing they were really there... and I mean that in the best way possible. We loved working with them and are thrilled to have the photographs that we do to always cherish our special day!
