I absolutely love the space at architectural artifacts - it's completely unique, urban, and you can be super creative with it, but it's great even if you don't do much. The store has so many unique items and you can incorporate them into the event space. I highly recommend it.
My one complaint, and it's possible we just worked with them at a weird time - is the inconsistent staffing and how they handled it. When we booked the space, Marie was there and had been there for a long time and seemed great. However, several months before the wedding she left. We weren't told anything about it. They hired a new person, but she ended up leaving after a short time. Once again, no communication to us, and emails that were sent to her went unanswered, without even receiving an auto-reply letting us know that we should contact someone else. Finally, the month before our wedding they hired someone else, and although she didn't know the space as well, she was really helpful. But then, the night before our wedding, she was evidently fired (no idea why)and so a few things that we had asked for didn't happen. And of course, no one told us that until we asked where she was... Everything still went well - the items we wanted weren't the be all and end all of the wedding at all, and Stuart (the owner) and everyone were helpful as they tried to pick up the slack, but it was still an unwelcome surprise. The issue is not so much the turnover itself (although unless the last coordinator did something really horrible, I think they could have at least waited a day to get rid of her...), but the lack of communication to the clients.

I could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding!!!! Marie is amazing!!!!!! She is so helpful and great at calming all my mom's fears. She coordinated everything flawlessly and we did not have to stress or worry. She even had a few surprised for us!!!! The space is incredible!!!!!! If you are looking fo a unique and enchanting space, this is it!!!!! The photo oppurtunities were endless. Our guests kept commenting on how much fun they had walking around and exploring the artifacts. The price is not bad for the city, just be prepared that you have to do a lot of coordinating, but they do give you great suggestions for caterers, photographers, dj's, etc.

Architectural Artifacts is a fabulously unique space and was perfect for our wedding. We knew the space was not air conditioned so we hired a company to cool the space for our August wedding. No one turned the air conditioners in time. The vendor said it was the air conditioner company's fault and vice versa. The venue folks knew what was happening and should have stepped it up. Other than that, it was everything we wanted and played a huge role in a completely fantastic wedding.
