If an intimate experience is what you are looking for this is not the place to go. My first visit was great! I found the dress of my dreams and my consultant was amazing, but thereafter it was a disaster. I would come to try on the sample dress (which I did purchase my wedding dress on my very first visit to the store) and look for accessories and it was very difficult to get assistance. My consultant would walk right by me and didn't even recognize that I was one of her brides, there to see her. If they happened to be filming for their television show, the place was chaotic! The ladies who worked at the welcome desk (I don't think they are still there) were very unfriendly and very unwelcoming. I honestly think they are more concerned with the television show and ratings than they are with their clients.
Also, they are not at all willing to work with budget conscious brides, unless they are doing so in front of the camera. They do not want you to purchase from other retailers carrying the same designer and once told me that if I were purchasing it somewhere else, "it must be fake." I think the television show gives brides a false impression of what they can expect. If you base your decision to come here off the show, you will be highly disappointed.
I will say however that their alterations team is wonderful! Very friendly and they truly make your dress fittings a fun and intimate experience. That was the only saving grace for me.

I'm from Atlanta, so went to Bridals by Lori even though I live in another state. I had the most amazing time when buying my dress. It was so stress-free and the sales reps know what they are doing. It was night and day from other store experiences. However, once I got my dress shipped to me out of state, the customer service was awful. First of all, when paying the balance once the dress came in, the online payment system went haywire and said that it refused my payment with credit card. I used AMEX, so thought maybe they didn't take AMEX so used a different card, which I tried twice and got the same error message. A couple hours later, I checked my balance online and despite an error message saying it never went through, I Bridals by Lori had charged my second card FOUR times, potentially putting me over the balance limit and giving me a heart attack. When I called them immediately and asked what had happened, the customer service rep blamed me for what had happened and wouldn't help me. I then asked to speak to someone else who helped void the extra charges, but told me that it wouldn't be back in my account for a week and was not sympathetic at all. Luckily, it was refunded that day so the problem was solved. However, when I got my dress in the mail, the sash was a different color than I was told when I bought it. I tried calling the store and my sales rep directly, and left several messages on several different voicemails and never heard anything back. I ended up using a sash from rent the runway, so use them.
Basically, I recommend Bridals by Lori for the dress buying experience, but don't expect great service once you've already bought. My bad experience could also be that I was out of state. If I had picked up my dress in person, I'm sure everything would have been taken care of easily. Definitely do not pay your balance online!

Though more than we wanted to spend for my gown, I fell in love with my dress here and I will look back on the pictures of it with great memories for years to come. The people in this store are very helpful and great to work with. Awesome! You can also get discounts on bridesmaid dresses.

I loved every moment I spent at Bridals by Lori. My consultant listened to what I wanted and also picked a few dresses that she believed would look good on me. I ended up going with one of her dresses and could not be happier. I felt absolutely amazing in my dress and felt like a BRIDE. When I went back for my fitting, I met with Lori, Monty and Robin and they were almost in awe of me in my dress and made me feel like a princess and the only person in the shop at the time.

My experience at Bridals by Lori was everything I had ever hoped my dress shopping adventure would be. They treated me like a princess and the entire team was there to "jack me up," the experience could not have been more perfect.

Obviously, I heard about Bridals by Lori through the TV show "Say Yes to the Dress," but I made an appointment with them because they carried the designer I was most interested in (Tara Keely by Lazarro). I worked with Cindy, who was wonderfully knowledgeable, creative, patient, and understanding. I liked the first two dresses I tried on, but when it came to dress number three, she picked the one she thought I had subtly favored while shopping around the salon. As soon as I put it on, I felt that flush that you only get when you know you've found "the one" Cindy took it up a notch by pairing a beaded ivory silk belt with it - and that sealed the deal. When I walked out - hoping my mom and maid of honor would love it as I did - they were speechless and brought to tears. We went out to the runway, dimmed the lights, and admired the dress from all angles. Cindy picked out a veil that perfectly complemented my dress - long, trimmed with lace, super elegant - and I felt like the perfect bride. Even Flo told me she had never seen that particular dress fit anyone like it fit me...music to my ears.
I tried on the other dresses I had picked out because I wanted to enjoy the experience and feel like a princess just a little longer, but I never wavered in my choice. I literally said "yes!" to the dress, met Lori, and she took my measurements so my custom-made dress would fit me like a glove. She knew what she was doing, because when it arrived it fit like a second skin.
I will warn brides that they do not take American Express, which put a brief glitch in our plans, so make sure you have an alternate form of payment if that's what you were planning on using. They did give me 12% off the price for buying on my first visit to the salon, which was a great added bonus. I had the dress shipped to my parents' house in Asheville, NC; the shipping department kept me informed and up-to-date on the status of my dress, and always acted appreciative of my business.
To sum it up, when I took my bridal portraits, the photographer wanted to know who made my dress and where I got it, as he found it incredibly stunning! I had no problem smiling after that!

Although this place has "lots" of beautiful dresses to choose from, it really does fall short of it's southern hospitality. The receptionists at the front are cold and uninviting. I didn't have to deal with them often, but the few times I did they were rude, mean, and unprofessional. The ladies in the tailoring room were great though. I actually bought two wedding dresses from them. I also got my bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride dress, and tuxedos there. The tuxedo department is great and I'm so happy I went with them! I wouldn't recommend doing the TV show unless you only care about being on TV. The first dress I bought was on the show. The appointment was super long because we had to do retakes and my consultant was like a robot that would only repeat what the producers would tell her to. I felt that the producer was helping me find my dress, not the consultant. You also can't really look at your family so half the time they didn't get to really see what I was wearing. You really share this special moment with the cameras and not your family. I bought a second dress because I felt pressured to buy one the first time and I really wasn't taking my time because of the whole TV show experience. The second time I went back with no cameras and I had a lot better time. The dresses were very expensive which was expected, but I didn't like that they didn't have as many choices as I thought they would. I'm still happy with both of my purchases and both of my dresses looked beautiful on my big day! I just wish I would of had a larger selection for the amount of money I spent.

My first visit with Bridals by Lori was amazing...they pulled my dream dress and I was in and out of there in less than an hour. My wedding was 5 months after my engagement so we had to rush the dress. Out consultant told us the dress would be in in 6 - 8 weeks. Eight weeks later, no dress. I called a few times to check on when my dress would be in and after 12 weeks of waiting, my dress came in. I was still able to have 2 fittings, but it was a disappointment that we paid so much for a rush and we didn't feel that we got our money's worth with that. When push came to shove, Robin, the store manager, agreed to give us back half of the cost of the rush. I have to say that the women in alterations were wonderful and very easy to work with. My dress was lace and I found two holes in the lace upon initial delivery...the seamstress made sure those hole were nowhere to be seen after the first appointment. I was pleased with my dress, but the service was a disappointment. When you see them on television, you expect one thing, but when you actually get there, it's another. The initial experience was amazing, but working with them after the purchase was less than great.

My dress was amazing and everyone at Bridals by Lori was very nice and curtious! I wouldn't have bought by dress at any other place!

We had a fantastic experience at Bridals by Lori. And no, we weren't in any tapings for Say Yes to the Dress, Atlanta. :) But we did meet Lori and Monty and they said yes to my mom's dress. They weren't there when I got mine, but it fit me perfectly tick for tack.
The best kept little secret for this place is that they have a warehouse with past season's dresses. They're just a beautiful and stunning and much more affordable.
The staff there was incredible and made you feel like the only bride in the building. Very attentive and helpful!

I had so much fun at Bridals by Lori picking out my wedding dress. I had exhausted all my options in St. Louis and given my love of Say Yes to the Dress, my mother, maid of honor, and I decided to road trip down to Atlanta. I had a dress in mind (the one I eventually chose) and Bridals by Lori made sure that it would be at the trunk show occurring that weekend. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful they were. And trust me, getting "jacked up" by Monte really is the icing on the cake.

I absolutely loved my wedding dress, but the service level I received at Bridals by Lori was extremely disappointing. I was rushed through my appointment because the next appointment was there, and we were interrupted 4 times for someone to remind us of that. I tried calling to ask a question, and after getting transferred around, I left a voice mail....I never heard back. The departments do not communicate with each other and have no idea what is going on on the other floor. I was told the length of my veil was changed, but when it came in, it was still wrong. Nobody changed it or got that memo (although I called 4 times to ensure it was inputted correctly). They simply just had too much going on. If you want personalized one on one service, do not go here. Also, whatever you do, DONT get your alterations done here! I went in for my first fitting and the one issue that the sales lady assured me they could fix, the seamstress said she couldn't. After 30 min of going back and forth, she finally said she could. We made a few changes and they said give them a month. A month later I go in and the seamstress didnt touch the dress! She said "I should have written it down, you know they just give me so much to remember." She did write it down! It was two weeks before my wedding and nothing was done to my dress. I had to have the same conversation with her about how she CAN fix the dress, and they said give them a week. It still wasnt perfect, but I was having a destination wedding and time was up. The place is disorganized. Again, I loved my dress, but the stress involved in getting it was too much. There's alot of other dress shops, go to those.
