I am the monther of the bride and from the first day that I had contact with Cross Creek Ranch I thought this venue was too good to be true. They made the planning process so easy for my daughter and me. I never felt stressed during the entire process.
When it rained the day of the ceremony and the tempurature dropped, Cross Creek staff provided our guests with wraps to keep them warm during the outside ceremony under the beatifuly canopy tree. Outside heaters were also provided in the reception area. Our guests could not stop talking about the wedding and how different and beautiful it was.
Hungry Harrys provided the catering and everyone was going back for seconds! We also chose to have a bonfire (it did stop raining for this) and guests enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making smores.
The decor that Cross Creek provided was both elegant and rustic leaving the guests feeling very relaxed.
I cannot think of anything (other than the rain) that I would have changed for my daughter's wedding.
The staff at Cross Creek know what they are doing and provided excellent service for a memorable wedding.

Cross Creek Ranch is an all inclusive venue, and it is perfect for brides who are short on time. I only had 6 month to plan my wedding, and we were so blessed to find such an accommodating place! They have it all! And if they don't have it, they'll make it for you. Nancy was our wedding coordinator, and she was fabulous. She made sure everything was perfect the few weeks leading up to the wedding, and the day of. Ilza was our designer, and she made everything look picture perfect. She listened to our ideas and made everything come to life! What's great, is the venue is so versatile! It can be country, rustic, vintage, garden...you can make it whatever you want! I gave it 4 stars, because the day of the wedding had a few hiccups. Just as I was about to walk down the isle, one of the employees told me my cake topper never showed up with the cake. This is an issue that should have been told to my maid-of-honor or my mother. It was literally 2 minutes before I was about to walk down, and naturally I began to panic. Nancy stepped in and took care of it. The bakery drove as fast as they could, and the topper was on the cake before the reception even started. Also, I requested a burlap runner to go down the isle, and that wasn't there. The night of the wedding was very cold, and the heaters we were promised to have weren't working. As a result, many of our guests left early. The day of my wedding, I went to look at how the decorations were coming along, and another bride was having her rehearsal! This was very awkward to have random people walking around my ceremony and reception area as I'm in hair rollers and PJs. And, the DJ needed surgery a few days before our wedding, so the venue gave us their back-up guy...and he wasn't great. However, these disappointments truly are minor compared to the beautiful, wonderful, amazing evening my husband and I had. The employees are at your every beck-and-call the day of, and you never feel overwhelmed, because they make sure everything runs smoothly. I loved it, and would do it all over again in a heart beat! If you are able to stay at the bed and breakfast the night before, do it! It was so fun waking up to freshly cooked breakfast and mimosas!

The staff at Cross Creek Ranch are phenomenal, to say the least. They worked with us on a concept that they had never done before (steampunk wedding), and the outcome was beautiful. Not only that, but the staff were very accommodating with a last minute emergency we had - on the day of the wedding! They rearranged the whole entire day in order to make it perfect and memorable for us, and the guests didn't even notice a thing had gone wrong!

We were married 10/4/13 at Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, FL. CCR is such a beautiful venue that has so much to offer!! The staff were all friendly and super helpful. At points they seemed like they wanted to be in control of everything, but that is what they are there for and they are good at their jobs, so just trust them. They will get your final say on everything before they write it down. They might ask you the same ?s a few times through the whole process (I don't like answering the same things multiple times, but I understood completely they are just double and triple checking). They want your day to be as perfect as you do. I felt like the day literally flew by, but I hear that from all brides. Another thing--not sure if this was just during the weekend we were married or all the time, but calculate traffic into getting your guests there in time. For our rehearsal we were all 45 minutes late because of traffic and again on the wedding day, my guests were 45 minutes late. I arrived about 3:30-3:40 (supposed to be there at 3) because of traffic as well and I was only coming from Tampa (our guests were coming by bus from St. Pete Beach). Great venue, highly recommend them, just do your homework on traffic and plan accordingly, and enjoy your big day!!!

Cross Creek was absolutely amazing!!! Nancy Spooner, Emilee Yockey, Bonnie McSharry and their team made everything so easy. I told them the vision I had - rustic/country - and they absolutely nailed everything. The ideas they had surpassed anything I could have dreamed of. They also coordinated with all the vendors which made it so simple for me. We had the ceremony under the oak tree and the reception in the stable and it was from a dream. I couldn't stop staring at everything, it was just so beautiful. They thought of every detail and gave me my dream wedding. It was truly perfect. I have received so many compliments from the guests - how beautiful it was and that it was the best wedding they had been to.
Me and the girls also stayed at the bed and breakfast on the property the night before and it was so wonderful. We had a relaxing night in an amazing country cottage and were served a wonderful breakfast by a lovely woman (sad I forgot her name but I think it was Robin) - she had fresh fruit, coffee, and an egg/croissant masterpiece. She was sensitive to dietary restrictions and was so pleasant and even brought greens from her garden. She came back later (along with another lady) to assist me with dressing and making sure I was where I was supposed to be. I did not have to think of anything that day, they had everything under control. The Cross Creek team all had headsets during the wedding so everything went so smoothly. We were even able to incorporate our dog!
And at the end of the night, after the most beautiful wedding, they packed us up doggie bags for later. It was so thoughtful. I know I am leaving stuff out - but the bottom line is my day was perfect and it is thanks to Cross Creek. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They care about what they do and they will make your dream come true (and without breaking the bank). Loved everything - thank you Cross Creek family!!!

My fairytale dream came true at the Cross Creek Ranch. It was so much more than what I could have imagined for my wedding day. I chose this venue because of the fact that it is all-inclusive. This really helped to cut down the tasks that I needed to complete personally, so I was able to focus on the little touches that made it my own. They handled the communication with the vendors and made sure everything fell into place. My ideas and choices for the decor were exactly what I had in mind. Alta Fleura did a phenomenal job on my flowers. They were truly breathtaking. Bill the DJ was upbeat and really listened to our thoughts. He kept everyone entertained and stayed on schedule. We rented Bob the horse with his owner and carriage. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. I felt like a princess! Our photographer Victor Junco did an amazing job as well and was so professional. What else can I say? It was perfect!

My husband and I got married at Cross Creek Ranch on September 21st. I knew after our first visit to the venue it was the perfect place for us. I can not say enough nice things about every single member of the staff that worked with us! Every visit they made us feel right at home. Everything about our wedding day was perfect, when I first walked over to see the set-up I was speechless, Emilee and Alta (florist) did such an amazing job taking our visions and making them a reality! Every detail was perfect! We were very lucky to have Nancy and Mina as our coordinators they were both beyond helpful the whole day! My husband and I were both sad to leave the Venue at the end of the night! I would without a doubt recommend CCR to anybody in search of a beautiful venue with a staff that makes you feel like family!

All the staff members were helpful and super sweet. They really made sure that the bride and groom were taken care of. They also made it easy for us to plan the wedding from afar.

Working with Cross Creek Ranch was a dream come true! Not only did they ensure that everything was perfect for our wedding, they worked with us throughout the year of planning to create the day of our dreams.
Emilee, our wedding designer helped make a neutral green and brown palatte look elegant and natural. She worked through each detail with me prior to the big day and made my at home wedding crafts stand out. She was able to execute our rustic vintage theme beautifully by utilizing natural elements and vintage materials. She was a delight to work with!
Nancy, our wedding coordinator made sure that everything was completed to perfection, and helped ease my nerves the day of! She was a lifesaver in balancing the tasks of our day, and helped remedy any issues with a smile.
Everyone at Cross Creek was fantastic to work with, and we absolutely loved all the vendors they recommended.
I highly recommend Cross Creek Ranch to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding. I would give them 10 stars if I could!
Thank you for everything, Heather and Ryan Vidal

I wish there were 6 stars. Everything about Cross Creek Ranch is perfect. When we got engaged, I looked up rustic wedding venues in Tampa and CCR was the first we found, the first we toured, and immediately booked it - we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The package is of incredible value and make wedding planning effortless - they are partners with tried and true vendors for catering, florist, cake and DJ and they all were tremendously professional and perfect. I could go on and on about the staff. Emilee was our designer and has a good ear for what the couple wants and puts it into action. Nancy is a savior - she is detail oriented and a tough cookie. With any external vendors (aside from the ones they recommend) we had a couple of snags and all we had to do was get her involved and the day was saved. I will also through my compliments to some other wonderful members of the staff - Jill and Mina. The team combined made my wedding day effortless and enjoyable. Ask any of them any question and they knew the answer - where is my bouquet (after I put it down and forgot... again), can you rebustle me (after it broke, twice). They are patient with a very detail oriented bride, and they proved themselves over and over again the day of the wedding. I have a very hard time turning over my details, my wedding day to hands of others, so I hope it speaks loudly when I say that I trusted the entire team to take over all the details for me and leave me completely worry-free - not an easy task for someone like me. Cross Creek Ranch just knows how to do it, and how to do it exactly right.

Cross Creek Ranch was a dream venue that lived up to my expectations. Throughout the entire planning process their staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything just the way we wanted it. The wedding day was calm and the staff took care of everything and anything (even when I lost my earring backs during the reception they found me new ones). It's knowing that the little things, as well as the big, are covered that make your wedding more enjoyable...an that's exactly what Cross Creek Ranch did!

Out two major reasons for selecting Cross Creek Ranch for our wedding were:
1. Gorgeous rustic setting with tractor, huge oak tree, bonfire
2. All inclusive so you pay one person for almost everything in installments
The staff was always kind and friendly. I was very impressed the day of the ceremony on the how well run everything was. They have headsets and know when everyone is arriving so the bride won't run into the groom and the photographer can get before ceremony pictures.
They also bring you and your bridal party snacks and drinks right after the ceremony since you all are doing pictures while everyone else is enjoying cocktail hour. They keep the photographer on time so the pictures only take the allotted time and you don't keep your guests waiting for an eternity. They really had it buttoned down from A-Z, which allowed me to relax and enjoy.
In hindsight this was a great choice and we feel fortunate to have selected this venue. It was beautiful and so very well run.

Loved this Venue. They did more then I thought they would do and made me feel like a queen on my wedding day. I had the most relaxed and fun wedding EVER! They make it so easy. I got so many compements on how beautiful it was and how relaxed I looked!
Everything is gorgeous on the property. Us girls stayed the night before the wedding in the B&B and it was so memorable! The owner as beautiful taste!
Not only was the place beautiful, they people are EXTREMELY nice. I felt like I made 20 new friends on the day of my wedding.
I cant say enough about how amazing this venue is.
I want to redo my wedding once a month just because it was so perfect I wish I could keep reliving it.
Honestly Cross Creek Deserves more then 5 stars!

The folks at Cross Creek Ranch deserve so much more than a 5 out of 5 rating! Our wedding was beyond perfect and what put it over the top were the people who work there. I know there were so many other weddings going on at any given moment but whenever I called they always made me feel like I was so special and they all knew who you were even if you hadn't met them yet. They were patient and flexible with us and our ideas, were always there when we needed them and looked out for YOU and YOUR GROOM throughout the whole thing, even if you don't know about it till after ;o) I couldn't have asked for a more perfect location (that had EVERYTHING we needed and more) but the service was beyond anything I ever imagined! If you get a chance, definitely get married here!

Please please please look at other options before booking here. I was all too eager to book here because of the charming atmosphere. However, charming would definitely not be my choice of words for my experience here.
It was a battle to have anything outside of a cookie cutter wedding, as they are not willing to go above and beyond for their brides, in my experience. And it came out of your pocket in addition to their astronomical fees.
Be wary if you have elderly, disabled, or low-mobility guests. The owner actually refused a disabled guest of mine a ride to the stable. Part of their sales pitch was they would be more than happy to transport anyone disabled to the stable.
My wedding was very rushed, and my guests felt rushed as well. It was a stern and oppressive environment which I felt from the time we started working with this venue until we were rushed out on my wedding night. We left 30 minutes early because of "miscommunication."
It was difficult to communicate with staff, and owners.
I was disappointed with my wedding as they did not meet my expectations that the ranch says they will meet.
The actual property was beautiful, but not worth the hassel and price-tag.
There are other venues with much more flexibility. I would recommend to anyone, to look elsewhere before seriously considering Cross Creek Ranch.

When my fiancée and I began searching for a wedding venue (for our wedding in January 2012), we wanted some place outdoors with a lot of trees and greenery. After extensive internet searching, we found Cross Creek Ranch, a beautiful estate with a huge grassy expanse and lots of trees. There are a few outdoor wedding ceremony options available, including the Cross Creek signature oak tree. The reception area is an open stable which can accommodate up to 200 guests. The property also features a “Man Cave”, a one-room building where the groom and groomsmen can get ready, a bridal cottage for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, and lots of open areas for the guests to wander and for the cocktail hour. Horseshoes and croquet gaming areas can also be set up for the reception, adding to the relaxed country atmosphere of Cross Creek Ranch. Cross Creek Ranch has been the site of hundreds of weddings, which becomes very obvious when you meet the staff, throughout the wedding planning, and at the wedding ceremony and reception. The easiest way to describe the operation is that it is similar to an all-inclusive resort. Cross Creek Ranch has their own staff and a set of preferred vendors which include a designer, florist, deejay, baker, wedding coordinator, servers, bartender, and a list of preferred caterers. Since everything is handled through Cross Creek Ranch, you will meet with each of these individuals during several meetings on their property (except for the baker and caterer which you will visit at their location for tastings). In addition to a highly skilled and extremely friendly staff, Cross Creek Ranch has a large inventory of items including china, lighting, linens, artificial flowers, chairs and tables, centerpieces, signage, and décor, so all of these items are included as part of your wedding “package”. All of the stress and time of having to find vendors for each of these items vanishes, as Cross Creek Ranch takes care of all of these details. The only three vendors that you are responsible for procuring on your own, in order to give you the most flexibility for your big day, are your wedding officiant, photographer, and videographer. In meeting with the specialists at Cross Creek Ranch, it is easy to see that they were very carefully chosen, are experts in their field, and are very detail oriented. They will go through every detail of the ceremony and reception including flowers, seating charts, centerpieces, song choices, timeline and order of wedding events, special requests, and cake design and cutting. At the wedding and reception, they are in constant communication with each other and will keep the photographer and videographer informed every step of the way so that everything stays on track and so no opportunities are missed. There are also several options that you can add to the wedding package including a horse drawn carriage for the wedding ceremony, a bonfire (with s’ mores), the rehearsal dinner, and use of the bed and breakfast on property, among others. There is honestly no way to put in words the beauty of the property, the commitment to detail and excellence of the staff, and how little stress was involved on our part in the planning and execution of as perfect a wedding as we ever could have imagined. We know that we made the right decision trusting the most important day of our lives to Bonnie and her team at Cross Creek Ranch.
