This hotel is unique, classic and charming and the venue spaces are different than the big, blank canvas of a conference room that some other venues often call ballrooms. Mary Ellen, the sales consultant, is very timely and helpful with all of her coorespondence throughout the planning process. The hotel prides itself on top quality customer service and they delivered. My day-of coordinator, JoAnn, was very helpful and made my wedding day flow seamlessly. She loves weddings and knows how to make it look and feel great. The food and drink is delicious! Throughout the entire planning process, through the wedding day and afterward they made me feel like a valued customer. The hotel is designed to have old Engligh charm, so it definitely needs to fit your style (and budget) but I highly recommend it.

Deer Path Inn was everything I could have imagined and MORE! They were so gracious, patient, and generous with me and my guests. The food was good, the complimentary suite was great, the service was phenomenal, and the wedding planner and day-of wedding planner were amazing to work with!

The staff at Deer path Inn truly make you feel special. My first impression was that they provided the same service as other places would, and with Mary Ellen's reassurances I knew that it would go well. However, I decided to hire a Wedding Planner anyway. Well, now I know that I did not need a Wedding Planner for the reception. Mary Ellen and Joann were phenomenal! I did not have to even think during the reception. They went the extra mile to make sure that the dance floor and tables were arranged just as I had wanted. Anything I wanted, I was given, and any question I had, was answered. The set-up and clean up was handled by Joann, who boxed everything for me and took care of everything as I had asked ...wow!

From the moment my husband and I began looking at DPI for our wedding all the way through to the weekend after our wedding when we went back for the Sunday brunch, the DPI staff has been nothing but gracious and accommodating. Mary Ellen helped us plan the wedding and was also the "day of" coordinator. (Usually Joann is the DOC, but she had a wedding to attend - we did meet with her the Friday before to sort out details and she was great). Mary Ellen was always prompt with her responses, friendly and helpful when planning. She also provided great vendor recommendations. The wedding reception went so smoothly it was amazing. My parents and I didn't have to worry about a thing the whole time. The bartender - Jose - knew everyone's drink by their second trip to the bar. The food was AMAZING! This is NOT "wedding food." Everyone raved about it! This is five star dining. And the service is top notch - on par with any Ritz Carlton and incredibly friendly. My parents, husband and I had a TON of stuff to move out of the hotel the next day and staff helped us with everything. The honeymoon suite is very nice, the strawberries and champagne at the end of the night is a great touch. And DPI itself is of course incredibly quaint and lovely. But the rooms are more modern than you think! Such a beautiful setting for a wedding - inside and out. If you can, have your cocktail hour in the garden, its so pretty out there. Thanks again to the DPI, Mary Ellen, Joann and the entire staff for making our wedding such a perfect day!
