Friendly service, Maine hospitality    posted 3/25/2013 (updated 3/25/2013)

I had a wedding block at the Meadowmere for my May 2010 wedding. Allyson Cavaratta worked with me to put together a wonderful place to stay for all of my guests. All of our gift bags were waiting for all of our guests in their room upon arrival. Allyson also was kind enough to recommend other lodging for guests who could only stay 1 night and those who had pets. The staff was so helpful and friendly to all of our guests....coming from places like Seattle, NYC, Wisconsin, Florida and helped them get acquainted with dining and other options in the area.

Our wedding ceremony and reception were next door at Jonathan's so none of our guests needed to hop a bus or get in their cars, they just walked through the grounds to the adjoining restaurant. Our Friday night welcome party was in the West Meadow Pub and everyone loved having all of the activities in one area on the grounds. Many people used the hot tub, roman spa and spa services as well as the indoor swimming pool.

The weather was high 70s and sunny, very unusual for May 1, but the hotel had so many options for taking our photos indoors just in case. All of our guests were in a room block in their red building so we were all in one area separate from the rest of the hotel which was great. The hotel is a short walk into town and many people took advantage of the nice weather, left their cars and the hotel and explored by foot. A great atmosphere, friendly employees and a beautiful bridal suite make this the perfect place to host your wedding guests. BTW,the bridal suite was big enough to accomodate me, my 6 bridesmaides, my mom, dad, brother and 2 junior bridesmaids while I was getting ready! The whirlpool tub in the room was the perfect place for all of our bouquets to rest while we were getting ready!

Beautiful place to stay! Close to town!    posted 7/26/2012

(Disclaimer: My husband and I won the 2012 Clay Hill Farm Green Wedding Giveaway and the Meadowmere Resortfrom was a prize sponsor. All opinions are my own.)

The Meadowmere is a fun and beautiful place to stay in Ogunquit. The rooms were clean, and the honeymoon suite is huge and very comfortable with a whirlpool tub! It was a great place for all of the ladies to get ready the morning of. There was lots of space.

Amazing    posted 1/18/2012

I would highly recommend this hotel if getting married in the Ogunquit area. Not only was my room (honeymoon suite) beautiful, the block of rooms for my guests was great as well. The staff was accommodating with our needs and the hotel has great amenities. Everyone was so nice and easy to work with!
