I cannot say enough good things about the Olde Mill Inn and especially our maitre'd, Marien. Throughout every aspect of planning my daughter's wedding, from suggesting vendors and choosing the menu to accomodating our out of town guests to making sure we had anything and everything we needed, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy every moment of our special day. The food was beautifully presented, plentiful and absolutely delicious!! All of our guests raved about the food. The setting is gorgeous. Our photographer said more than once that she loves photographing at the Olde Mill Inn because it makes for such a beautiful background in pictures. Because the staff is so proficient at setting up each area, they were able to hold off setting up indoors, even though it rained for a good part of the day, and they set up outside once the rain stopped with plenty of time to spare. That made my daughter's dream of an outdoor wedding come true.
Marien is without a doubt the most organized, enthusiastic, resourceful professional we ever could have hoped for. She guided us through the process with a wealth of experience and good advice. We all trusted her completely, which made for zero stress the day of the wedding. She took charge and made sure everything ran smoothly, and she did it all with the same bubbly enthusiasm from 10am that morning till after midnight.
Go see the Olde Mill Inn. I promise you will love it!!

When looking at wedding venues, we took a trip up to OMI, and it was the 2nd venue we had looked at it. As soon as we walked up to the venue we fell in love with how nice the venue looked from the outside. After going in and seeing the inside we loved it even more. We met with Lindsay Stewart, and she was very helpful, and helped answer all of our questions. Throughout the process she was great, and very responsive. We never felt pressured at all working with Lindsay.
As for the actual wedding we worked with John Lietz, who was amazing. We met with him prior to the wedding, and he was very detailed, and patient with all of the questions we had. He helped us plan the day, and choose our menu. He was also really responsive when it came to answering questions we had. Throughout the night he did a great job of making sure we were eating, and drinking.
We are still receiving compliments on how amazing the wedding was, and how it was the best wedding our guests have been to. From the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception, the food, the wait staff. It was all amazing!
We would highly recommend the Olde Mill Inn to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding day!

The entire staff at the Olde Mill Inn was a true pleasure to work with. John, our maitre'd was tending to our needs before we knew we even had them on the wedding day and he would respond to my crazed bride emails at all hours of the night. Cathi, the Director of Sales, was always immediately responsive to all of my questions throughout the planning process. I could not have asked for a better team to help create my wedding. The rest of the staff, from the front desk to the waitstaff, was wonderful to work with as well. The Olde Mill Inn was always willing to accommodate my requests, especially as vegetarian bride! All of our guests continue to rave about the food and the experience. Guests have asked if we could do the wedding again because they had such a wonderful time. I would do it again in a heartbeat! And you can't beat the beautiful, rustic, classy feel of the decor. I would recommend the Olde Mill Inn to any bride!

This is the second wedding my family has hosted at Olde Mill Inn and it was just as perfect as the first. My sister married there in 2011 and I knew I would not find a better venue for my wedding. Everyone, from our pickiest eaters to foodies, raved about the food. The stuffed tomato appetizer was loved by all. My family and guests were treated very well by all of the staff at Olde Mill Inn and the staff was timely and responsive to any and all needs. On site lodging was convenient and allowed for many of our guests to stay until the last dance and continue the celebration at the Grain House. I only wish we had another sister to get married so we could use Olde Mill Inn again.

My husband and I were married at the Olde Mill Inn on July 27th, 2013. We decided to have our ceremony at the gazebo outside the grain house and our reception inside. It was absolutely perfect! We worked with Lindsay Stewart who not only made the planning extremely easy leading up to the wedding, but also made our wedding day run smoothly with absolutely no stress on us! The food was amazing, the venue was gorgeous, and the service was beyond our expectations. Many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how beautiful the venue was and how friendly and accommodating the wait staff was throughout the night. My husband and I truly felt that our wedding day was THE perfect day. Thank you Olde Mill Inn!

My guests could not stop raving about the wedding. The setting is magical, the food was amazing and plentiful and the staff of the olde mill/grain house did an outstanding job of anticipating every need and fulfilling all requests. They even created a special vegan dish for our best man both at the rehearsal dinner and at the reception. Lindsay Stewart, our coordinator and maitre d was an invaluable help from the very minute I met her. She guided me through every step of the planning process and the result was an amazing wedding.

My husband and I got married at The Olde Mill Inn February 2, 2013. Every step, from our first emails and meetings, to our tasting, to our final meetings, to the rehearsal, big day and morning after, during the whole planning process was amazing and easy. Many of our guests said that “our wedding was best wedding they ever attended,” asked us to renew our vows, or suggested that we hold the rest of our families’ weddings at The Olde Mill Inn. I think why our wedding was successful was because we were in a complete state of bliss and calm because there was no detail left untouched by the beautiful and well kempt location, delicious food, and generous and amazing staff, our maître d' was John and the person who signed us was Marien. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My husband and I were blown away by how perfectly our October wedding went at the Olde Mill Inn. They are true professionals and treat each couple with the utmost attention and dedication. Everything was beautifully executed as we wanted it, the food was delicious, and the recommended vendors were excellent as well. Our families had the perfect wedding weekend retreat at the hotel and are still talking about how wonderful it was. When all of the festivities were over (after an after party in the huge bridal suite and omelets at the group breakfast), my husband and I didn't want to leave. We sat in the gazebo and held hands and looked at the couples who were touring the facility for their own wedding. We told them enthusiastically that they couldn't do better than OMI for their wedding and remembered the people who had said the same to us less than a year before. Everyone we've spoken with raved about the service, food, and beauty of the Olde Mill Inn. We look forward to returning many times for dinner at the Grain House. It is a very special place and the perfect venue to showcase our enduring love and commitment to a life together. Thank you to John who was an amazing maitre D, and to the fabulous waitstaff as well. If I could live in one day for the rest of my life, it would be the day of my wedding at the Olde Mill Inn.

The service and the food were absolutely out of this world! My husband and I were married at the Olde Mill on October 26 (just before the storm - phew!) and we couldn't have been happier. We worked with John and Lindsey (Smillie) and they were with us every step of the way. I was so nervous throwing everything at John the day before the wedding - decor, guestbook, ceremony notes, etc - but he made sure everything was flawless, and did it all with ease. They are true professionals, and made sure we had the best day of our lives. And the FOOD! Our wedding guests are still raving about the food two months later, and I'm sure they still will be for months to come! They are also very attentive to allergies - I'm severely allergic to sesame, and the staff made sure all the food was sesame free...because there was no way I wasn't eating all that delicious food. Thank you John, Lindsey, and everyone at the Olde Mill!

My husband and I got married in the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on Nov. 10. The venue just got their power back after losing it as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Needless to say, the stress level was at an all time high. The staff was extremely responsive and by the time the wedding day arrived, you'd have no idea that there was devastating hurricane that had hit the area just two weeks prior.
The staff was amazing - we didn't have to worry about a thing. Marien helped us fall in love with the location and the amazing Victoria put it all together - and kept us sane throughout. We're still hearing about the amazing food! The potato bar was definitely a highlight, but all of the food was out of this world!
Thank you to the Olde Mill Inn for making our wedding day feel special and one that we'll always remember!

My husband and I chose to have our 11.29.13 wedding at the Olde Mill Inn because of its cozy and rustic feel. Best choice we could have made!! We booked with Lindsey Smillie- she was so sweet and we were so impressed with the level of professionalism. She was open and flexible to working with us on planning a perfect wedding day within what we could afford. She was immediately responsive throughout the planning months whenever I emailed her and provided great advice & suggestions. We encountered much of the same with our Maitre 'd John. He was warm & friendly, responsive when I contacted him, very helpful when we met with him to plan our menu, and very organized when I went the week of the wedding to drop off all of our stuff. The day of the wedding, was the best day of our lives! And OMI had alot to do with that. Not only was the venue breathtaking, but everyone raved about the food and the service. John was always there when I needed him with a drink or a plate of food without being overbearing. Also, at the end of the night, there was nothing better than everyone just being able to walk up to their rooms. I also liked that fact that I got to wake up the next morning and spend breakfast again with my friends and family. It felt like a weekend getaway! We highly recommend the OMI!! They made our wedding day so special- we didn't want it to be over!!!

Olde Mill Inn was amazing. Lindsey, when we booked the venue a year ago was so great and helpful and once we toured the property we knew we wanted our wedding there. They made everything so easy. Our maitre'd John was so amazing. He made sure I had nothing to worry about the day of our wedding. He made everything flow so smoothly I never had to worry about a thing. Always had food and a drink ready for me. The FOOD WAS SOOO DELICIOUS. Everyone loved the mashed potato bar at cocktail hour. Everyone kept telling us how stuffed they were after the wedding and how delicious all the options we had were. So many choices and so accommodating to our food preferences. The hotel itself is beautiful and loved all our guests stayed right with us and got breakfast with us the next day. Would definitely recommend this place to any bride/groom looking for a amazing venue with amazing staff and food! It was the greatest night of our lives and so glad we chose the Olde Mill Inn.

Our wedding day was September 6, 2013 and it was the best day of our lives, and the Olde Mill Inn helped make it that way! We worked with Marien as our wedding planner and maitre d' and she went well above and beyond to make sure that everything went perfectly. She knew every detail of what we wanted and wished for and paid attention to us as individuals (even making sure that the bride had a bowl of her favorite Grain House pickles waiting for her at the sweetheart table! Yum!) She was quick to answer e-mails and on the day of the wedding, she was five steps ahead of us throughout the entire day to prevent any and all hiccups.(There were none!)
The venue itself is truly remarkable. An all-in-one venue where your guests stay right upstairs and the ceremony and reception are downstairs, it's beyond convenient. Because we had our wedding on a Friday, our wedding was the only one that day and it felt like the hotel was our home. The rooms are extremely high-quality (they even have Keurig brewers in each room!) and the building is well-maintained all-around. All of our guests felt at home and loved their experience there!
We had our ceremony in the courtyard, and the setting was beautiful. It's a small, intimate, and beautiful setting right in the middle of the hotel.
We also chose to have our rehearsal dinner in the Grain House restaurant across the parking lot. The food at the Grain House is spectacular (we went there for dinner ourselves a few times before our wedding), but that pales in comparison to the amazing dinner at the Olde Mill Inn during our reception. Everyone raved about the delicious (and surplus of) food at cocktail hour, and the main course was even better. Everyone's orders are taken tableside, ensuring that food isn't prepared ahead of time and just heated up.
Finally, we were so grateful that because we were having our wedding on a Friday, the Olde Mill Inn was willing to work with us to fit our budget. If they weren't as flexible as they were, we likely wouldn't have been able to have our wedding here.
If you're looking to have a medium-sized (100-200 people) wedding, the Olde Mill Inn is worth every penny. Your pictures will be perfect with such a beautiful backdrop and your experience will be everything you dreamed of! We HIGHLY recommend this venue.

I don't even know where to begin. I was married at The Olde Mill Inn on August 23, 2013, and it was the most amazing day of my life. The Olde Mill Inn made my every dream came true. We worked with Lindsay Stewart from day one, and she was even our maitre d' on the day of the wedding. Having Lindsay with us from the start to finish was the greatest thing. I was so happy to have a familiar face with me that day. Every little thing I ever needed, Lindsay took care of flawlessly, even to the point of calming me down on the day before the wedding when I was in tears over family drama. During the wedding and reception, every time I turned around and needed something, Lindsay always seemed to be right there. As for the venue, it was beautiful, and the food is still the talk of everyone. At one point, I even found my dad, hiding before the introductions with another plate of food from cocktail hour, and as he tried to eat as much as he could before we had to go, he said to me, each thing is better then the next!!! I am so happy that I decided to have my wedding at The Olde Mill Inn!! It was by far the best decision I made during the wedding process.

Not a happy bride! I want express my profound frustration and disappointment with the Olde Mill Inn because I NEVER want anyone to go through what I did.
My Maitre' D, John was an absolute mess! To start, I had my best man running around trying to figure out what to do with our overnight stuff. Because a bunch of us stayed the night before we had a lot of things with us, especially me as the bride. We were thrown out of the room at 11am. No one was willing to help us move our luggage and things. My guest had to put the ceremony runner down because he couldn't figure out how to. Then, I was promised a table of bottled water would be set up outside before the ceremony for the guest. Our ceremony was outside in the gazebo. There was no water! I was promised by the Maitre D that my sky Lanterns would be set up on a separate table next to the water. Not only were they not, they completely disappeared. (& they are NOT cheap). During my cocktail hour champagne was handed out, however there were not enough of glasses. I had several people ask for water, including a few pregnant women. They were not spoken to, they were YELLED at by the maitre d. He was refusing to give water. HELLO, water is free! Plus he failed to put the bottles out like I was told. When I heard him raise his voice I went to go speak with him and I was yelled at by my own Maitre D. I thought a Maitre D's job was to help the couple, not stress them out!
My reception was rushed. The staff cleared off all of the table 75 minutes before my time was up and when my guest asked for drinks, they were told no because they had another wedding coming in.
I had my extra flowers I paid for go missing as well as my sky lanterns. My sand ceremony heart was completely mixed up and ruined.
It was just a horrible experience! I would never wish any bride to go through what I did. My special day was destroyed. I had sent a long complaint letter to the General Manager and I basically got, Oh Sorry!

One of my requirements for our wedding venue was for everything to be in one location and the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn completely delivered.
From the very first walk through the site, I was treated absolutely amazing and completely like a bride to be wants to be treated. Cathy, our sales rep, went through the effort of letting my mom and I see a bridal suite even though it was occupied and honestly, knowing how I was as a bride to be, it speaks volumes of the customer service that another woman would let strangers in to her room the morning of her wedding just because Cathy asked. Cathy was willing to entertain every slightly crazy idea I had and offered her professional opinion in a completely non-imposing way.
We had our ceremony and reception there Our guests could walk across the parking lot at the end of the night to their hotels room, which were also very nice. My Aunt had nothing but compliments and she is a self professed super critic of hotel rooms. The food was wonderful as well. The absolute icing on the cake though was Marien, our maître d.
From the night before our wedding at the rehearsal dinner and all the way through to the end of the night of our wedding day, Marien was there steering the ship. She made sure everyone in the wedding party knew what they were supposed to be doing during the ceremony, made sure the bridesmaids walked at the right time, got guests seated at the ceremony and down to the dining room for the introductions and made sure every decoration was set up how I wanted it.
I absolutely can not say enough how wonderful this venue is. Everyone at the wedding had nothing but compliments on every aspect and especially about how much Marien had it together. I have no regrets or complaints about this venue. Love, love, love.

The Olde Mill Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. From the start, Lindsey S. guided me through the entire process with professionalism and amazing hospitality. She was so good to me that I decided to have my bridal shower at The Grain House, which was spectacular. John L. was our maitre'd and he was the absolute best. He made sure everything ran smooth from start to finish and went above and beyond. Everything was perfect, the ceremony, food, service and accommodations. I would recommend The Olde Mill Inn to anyone. Thank you to John and Lindsey and the entire Olde Mill Inn staff.

I was so happy with the way my wedding turned out. MArien and her team at the OMI are exquisite. If you want to be super happy on your wedding day, book the OMI!!
