Alison and Mary of the Simplifiers were tremendously helpful in supporting our marriage celebration. We purchased the 30 day out service but they were available with suggestions before the 30 days and made sure that we were remembering to take care of everything. Once the 30 days kicked in Alison was very persistent with the vendors and made sure every detail was accounted for. The celebration came off perfectly and hiring the Simplifiers allowed us to just enjoy our special party! I highly recommend using their services. They are real pros and know what they are doing!

I cannot say enough good things about The Simplifiers. Everyone else's reviews are spot on: the team that Mary has put together is absolutely FANTASTIC. Jordan was our personal coordinator for our wedding this past weekend, and was beyond invaluable to us. She did our month of/day of coordination, and everything was organized to a T, explained and tended to promptly and professionally, and fun. On the day of there was a hiccup with the alcohol (as in it didn't show up), and Jordan and her assistants fixed it so quickly and easily that it's a wonder my type A self and family even noticed the goof up. Jordan's kind, calm demeanor stayed put the entire time, and by the end of the night (and it was a long one, she was there from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m.), she was still up and at 'em.
I've seen wedding coordinators that annoyingly hover around the bride and groom during the wedding, directing when to do toasts, cake cutting, etc., and this team does not do that in the least, but they still manage to be there exactly one minute before you realize you need them. All of a sudden I would be slightly hungry, and there was Jordan saying she was bringing me a plate of food. I'd turn around to find a glass of water, and turns out Jordan and company had brought water and gatorades for my husband and me. And speaking of my husband, even he noted multiple times how amazing the entire Simplifier team was. Turns out guys notice those things, too!
I think it's easy at the beginning of wedding planning to think you can handle everything, but trust me (and my mom, who had planned 3 weddings before mine) that having someone else that is trained in this stuff to handle all the nitty-gritty details is a must. Ten stars out of five.

My husband and I booked The Simplifiers for day-of coordination for our October 19, 2013 wedding (3 days ago because they're THAT good I had to write something fast!). Before I begin, note that I am a self-proclaimed control freak. I knew I would plan my own wedding from an early age. I have very high expectations for myself and even higher ones for others. Hiring a coordinator was last on my list of things to do.
Having Jordan Adams of The Simplifiers by our side was hands down, the BEST decision my husband and I made for our wedding. Our ceremony was at Saint Mary Cathedral with the reception at the Palm Door. We required A LOT of details and decorations for this wedding so going into this I couldn't help but feel like I was a challenge for any coordinator.
However, Jordan and The Simplifiers team gracefully accepted the challenge and surpassed my demanding expectations. What I'd like to especially highlight is the demeanor and level of professionalism the staff consistently displayed from start to finish. Never once did Jordan or others wince at a request or hurdle. And when those hiccups came along, they remained poised and exceptionally overcame each task. Our photo booth was absurdly late--Jordan called him, kept me informed, and ensured guests participated despite the shift in timeline.
Jordan exudes a calming nature that every bride needs that day, no matter the circumstance. She fulfilled every promise and when other vendors failed to meet commitments, she tended to them. She did everything she could to ensure we were well taken care of even beyond the required time commitment (including packing our car for us). Email or phone call, I could depend on her to respond promptly--something so simple yet invaluable when planning a wedding 1500 miles away.
Owner Mary is leading an incredible team--well-trained with an awesome morale. Book The Simplifiers. You won't regret it.

The Simplifiers were the best guest at my wedding! They took care of everything. Things I thought of and things I would have never thought of. There were details I worried about before getting in touch with the crew, but after our first meeting, I knew I wouldn't have to bribe a friend or take my family away from the moment. Because of last minute rain the ceremony was moved indoors and the only worrying I had to do about it was start the ceremony in a different location. Not having to worry about a single thing meant that I got to enjoy every moment with my family, friends, and husband. Thanks Mary, Cindy, and Dani!!

Mary and the Simplifiers were great! We used them for day-of service, and they did a fantastic job. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, or if there were issues we didn't know about it, which was great.

Mary and her team helped pull off a wedding day that blended two very different visions (my husband wanted a big party and I wanted a small wedding). Most importantly, their team helped pull together an event that otherwise we wouldn't have pulled off.
Our day had hiccups; most of which were out of anyone's control. Regardless, our guests had no idea, and a year later, it is still an event that all of our friends and family talk about. We were just at a wedding in Virginia, with many of the same guests. It was almost embarrassing that during the reception, guest kept talking about OUR Austin wedding.
Also, my mom loved the fact that she didn't have to get help from my aunts... :-)

Mary Baird-Wilcock and her team are absolutely phenomenal. They're everything you would want in a wedding support role. Warm, professional, experienced and capable of handling any surprise without being rattled. Bless them all! They seriously made our wedding seamless. I'd hire them again for any event and highly recommend that you do, too.

At first, I was uncertain if we should hire a wedding coordinator. In the end, it was the second best decision I made (obviously the best decision was deciding who to marry!).
What can I say? The Simplifiers made everything easy, simple, and perfect. They handled the details with incredible aplomb. They are worth their weight in gold. And to think that they saved us more money than their fee by recommending excellent vendors who gave us great discounts since we were working with the Simplifiers! I can not recommend them enough!!!

Mary and her staff were great to work with on all phases of our wedding. From pre-event planning to throughout the wedding weekend. The Simplifiers were able to turn our vision into a reality. And most importantly they were able to make sure our champagne flutes were wherever we were!

Without the help of the Simplifiers, my mother and I would've killed each other on my wedding day!
Dani Alvarado and the team were like an army of organization, keeping me in check throughout the process the month of my wedding in February 2012. I work a crazy 60-hour/week corporate PR job and I needed to run the wedding planning like a business. From daily email status updates to vendor coordination (which was a huge help) and the occasional Skype call to talk me off a ledge, the Simplifiers removed all of my worry and took care of every detail. I wanted a non-traditional ceremony and a fabulous fiesta and that's exactly what I got!
The best part was that my husband and I truly had the most amazing time. I have heard from so many brides that the stress of planning distracted them from the single most important aspect of the whole thing - the celebration of your love. Luckily for me, I had the help of the Simplifiers to make my day absolutely awesome! HIGHLY recommended.

The devil is in the details but Mary helped me get that straightened out for my out of town wedding located in Austin. She ran the rehearsal and kept things running smoothly on the day of the wedding, but actually started working with me a month before the wedding on phone calls (which were always on time, professional, and efficient.) I had a lot of decorations and things that needed to be dropped off/set up/etc which she handled beautifully. I had no one able to do that for me. She also double checked with vendors and helped keep me on track that last month with things I needed to do - I'm already a fairly organized person but it was still helpful. One thing I really appreciated was just having someone there to worry about the timing and people herding. This was more of a gift to my mom and bridal party than to me :) Of course we had some mini crisis with the lighting and cake that I didn't even realize until afterwards - that's a sign they're doing something right for sure. Everything they were in charge of went off without a hitch (and if it didn't I wasn't aware of it!). All in all, Mary is a very professional, efficient, pleasant person who knows how and when to be there - and when to be invisible.

Our Super Hero for the day was Jordan. She is totally sweet & put up with my crazy "Team Sexy" (bride's maids) and me. I think we used up all the safety pins in the tackle box! Wondering what's up with that? Hire them & find out! lol
The ladies of Team Sexy even asked me how I got the wedding to flow perfectly. I said that's all the planner, I did nothing but show up and be my silly self for the evening.
And they really are super heroes in disguise because without me telling them..Jordan knew when my husband & I welcomed our son into the world! She even sent a card, which turned out to be my favorite one!

My husband and I turned to The Simplifiers for our wedding planning and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Our initial meeting with them put us at ease right away, and this feeling carried through all the way through our wedding day. Abbie was so patient and easy-going, it really took a lot of the stress off of us. They provide you with budget break-downs and help you stay on track. I especially loved the planning timeline they provided that let us know exactly what we should be doing at every stage in our planning, from months ahead, to the day of. I also appreciated the fact that they did all the heavy lifting as far as researching vendors, then we were presented with a short list of options that fit into our budget, and all we had to do was interview them and pick our favorites. They even handled setting up the interviews; all we had to do was show up. On the day of our wedding, everything came together and ran so smoothly. I would recommend The Simplifiers for any couple who wants a stress-free, fun, and well-organized wedding planning experience.

The Simplifiers were great! We had several challenging circumstances that they were able to help solve (out of town guests, a wedding outside and away from standard venues). They were able to provide flexible options for a lot of weather related issues. Their recommendations for our vendors were excellent and we had a beautiful, stunning wedding day. Thanks Simplifiers!

I got married in Austin in April 2013 and when I started my wedding planning process back in 2011, I was new to the area. I managed to do a great deal on my own but knew that I would need help on the Day-Of. I read reviews on the Simplifiers and loved what I read. The photos I saw were right up my alley as well. I met with Mary and Alison and we all hit it off from the first meeting. From then on, they were extremely helpful. Alison was so quick to answer any questions I had or to suggest reputable vendors. She helped me get a grip during the last month when things were hectic. Alison was always calm, professional, well-versed in the industry, and extremely helpful. During the tail-end of the process Dani joined Alison to help out. They made a great team.
Our wedding went so smoothly and though there were things that didn't go exactly according to plan - as usual - no one noticed and it was executed so beautifully. I can't thank Alison and Dani and the Simplifiers enough for all the work they did. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted - a stress-free, laid back, good time - and it's due to their work.
If you're planning a wedding in the Austin area, do yourself a favor and hire the Simplifiers. Really.

I hired The Simplifiers for their "month of" coordination. I did most of the planning and they swooped in and saved me for all the last minute details. I thought I had everything figured out but of course there happened to be things I forgot and Dani Alvarado made sure that everything ran smooth and that every detail was covered. They made sure I paid all the vendors, contacted everyone to make sure they knew their roles, created a site plan and day-of timeline. EVERYTHING was taken care of. I even had requests to change things around on the site plan and Dani was amazing at being flexible. I also had a problem with my venue and I did not want to talk to them any more than I had to and Dani became my middle-woman. She took all the stress away from me. In the end, the wedding went great, everyone had a good time and I can't wait for someone else to get married so I can refer Dani to them.

Mary and her team at the Simplifiers really made our wedding special and stress-free. They helped with "left brain" stuff like budgeting, timelines, and contracts and "right brain" stuff like decor, themes, and even a shared Pinterest inspiration board! While I was busy with a full-time job and grad school, they were hard at work planning our perfect wedding. They are so creative and really listened to what we wanted in our wedding. I honestly couldn't have done it without them!
